Take A Seat, Take A Stand
The World’s First Seated March
Although women’s movement is on the rise, women are still sidelined in sports. This shows on the empty seats at the WNBA games. This season, the WNBA calls all voices currently supporting women into the arena. By showing up to the game, you’ll be doing more than supporting women in sports. You’ll be standing up for women everywhere.
A SEATED MARCH: ARENA DIVISION
Every arena is divided into sections, each assigned to a partner organisation. When you take a seat, you’ll be standing for a cause of your choosing and the WNBA will donate a portion of your ticket towards it.
The main partner organisations are: Planned Parenthood, The United State of Women, GLSEN, Mentor, It’s On Us and Bright Pink.
