COLUMBIA JOURNALISM REVIEW / TBWA/CHIAT/DAY NY
Covering Climate Now
Global warming is the great crisis of our time, and our news media is failing to meet that challenge. Coverage has been historically poor, and as the global protector of journalistic ethics, the Columbia Journalism Review needed to act. Covering Climate Now is a global alliance of over 440 news outlets and journalists, from 47 countries, united in their push to increase climate coverage to a level that reflects the gravity of the problem that we all face.
THE COVERS
We took over 40 front pages of global newspapers physically treated to reflect the looming impacts of the climate crisis, like rising seas, intensifying heat waves, declining snowpack, increased pollution, and extreme wildfires.
THE EXHIBIT
On September 16th, the exhibit opened its doors in The Gallery, located on Orchard just south of Grand Street (59 Orchard Street, New York).
